Ada sorang tanya aku melalui PM FB.

Jawapannya, tidak.
Walaupun keduanya membawa lebel Brit yakni, berasal dari Britain. Yang mana, musicnya agak rich dan psychedelic. Britrock lebih kepada rock dengan elemen Grunge dan alternative Queen's style manakala Britpop lebih kepada Indie, sub-alternative yang mellow seperti Blur dan Radiohead.

Bercerita pasal Britrock, hanya satu band yang muncul dalam otak aku. SKUNK ANANSIE.

Diterajui oleh Skin, seorang black chix yang mempunyai power vocal yang mana, lebih elok dia nyanyi lagu Diana Ross. Tapi, dia memilih platform Britrock, dan, well, satu dunia dapat melihat hasil nyanyiannya.

Nama band, Anansie, adalah sempena nama labah-labah dalam cerita karut marut Afrika yang fames tu. Skunk, sekadar menambah perisa pada nama tersebut.
